If anyone wants to know what the reason behind the proposed reverse split and issuance of more shares is, go back in history on this thread and read about it.
The main reason behind it is as follows (I voted against the reverse):
The company needed more resources to make a package for a new debt deal, a sweetner to make the debt offer float. I think the company went against the reverse split because the share price was too low and it would have been seen as a last ditch effort to raise money. I and others here agree that we do not need more outstanding shares, the float is too big as it is. Look at other NAZ stocks that have 2-10 M outstanding..
Reverse splits DO NOT work, they dont. Look in news about companies that do these reverses and the hell that happens after they do it.. So if anyone talks to the company admonish them to drop that idea, or the stock will move from a buck to .50 cents in a matter of days. IMHO reverses are for companies that cant make their stock price go up on other merits, like earnings?
I think there is a good amount of possibilities for this company, I do wonder what Mr Copeland is thinking sometimes, and I was suprised that you said you spoke to him and he wanted to increase shareholder equity. I am very happy that they are increasing the product line, it is about time. I also wonder why the company does not have its products in more locations. I was also suprised that he spoke with you, he didnt return any of my emails, and I have been a holder for 18 months!
I sure hope the marketing department does their job at this upcomming event in May, and I also hope that Mr.Copeland doesnt put a stink bomb in the next earnings report, like he did in the previous.
I also hope that the company can get back in the habit of putting out news pieces for themselves and make more alliances. News has been scarce the last 6 months or so.
The upside for the stock has a potential to be HUGE, if the co plays it right and makes more effort to market its products..... |
