If a Fortune 500 company like Procter and gamble realizes the importance of the internet and decides to make a big push to create web presence, it has two choices. It can set up, by itself, powerful servers, hire expert unix programmers, and start operating the servers 24 hours a day 7 days a week without interruption - in addition to content programming.

Or they can work with EXDS. They can colocate their servers at a local EXDS data center, let EXDS worry about security, maintenance, operation of website - traffic managements, upgrade, programming etc. and just focus on the contents and internet business strategy.

Most traditional big, consumer, manufacturing, service companies (except hitech giants like INTC or IBM) are not web savvy and it is a real task for them to build up internet service department from scratch. Furthermore, the time urgency is pretty acute. So for most companies, it makes a lot of sense to work with EXDS.

Just my humble opinions. if you see errors or misunderstandings please point them out.
