You may well be right and we know Intel has super management.

But the deal still doesn't make sense to me, as it seems to compete with it's customers and the business is likely to be low margin, without a tie-in to network revenues or additional e-commerce revenues.

As a stand alone anyway this deal still doesn't make sense.

This must be a small piece of a bigger puzzle in some way, IMHO.

Perhaps they are going to buy somebody like COMS and then also hook up with somebody that offers an e-commerce portal such as AOL/Yahoo etc.

Intel certainly has the dough and the savvy to do something major like that.
