If the board makers in Taiwan continue to push the 133 Mhz SDRAM and Intel slips again I think Rambus could be in trouble.

- the DRAM manufactures do not want to make Rambus and would rather
stick with the SDRAM's, much easier to make and lower cost
- most of the PC growth is in the sub $1k boxes and this segment will not support a memory technology that add's hundreds of $$'s to the
the cost of the box
- a lot of the box makers are not happy with Intel and would love an
opportunity to beat Intel on this issue
