Rich, I agree with Jorj. When technical signals are against you, probability wise you have more chance of losing than winning.

If you already have a large positions, I certainly wouldn't want to add more. Buying put option would be the safe play but the insurance premium is very high(RMBS at $55, May 50 put was selling for $3). I would sell half of RMBS holdings rather than paying high insurance premium.

There is a good chance that RMBS will lose 30% of its value within next 3 months.

Just my 2 cents.
