Anyone out there volunteer to help Hutch find the deflation he talks about? 'Gold always does well in times of deflation, not inflation' We thought we found something that looked like inflation, felt like inflation, and smelled like inflation - when gold went to $800 plus - but, darn it, Hutch says it wasn't inflation after all? If it wasn't inflation was it deflation perchance? Also the rules get changed as we go along - no longer can we use the CPI as an indicator of inflation in this Alice Through the Looking Glass World? Help! dd
