You misunderstood what I said. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I don't believe I have ever accused you of pontificating on a subject you know nothing about. Please show me the link so I can understand what gave you that impression. As for the "research-on-the-fly" thing, I was talking about myself. I gave a brief definition of mercantilism as I understood it from my own college days, studying history at Tulane. The document you quoted was consistent with my recollection. That made me happy that my own expensive education had not gone to waste. I forget exactly what Tulane cost a year for tuition, something like $15,000 at the time. I have a B.A., a J.D., and an LL.M. (Master of Laws) from Tulane. Not cheap.
