Dear Greg: I ONLY buy Michelin tires. Here's two reasons: (1) My wife has nearly 100,000 miles on her set on her Jeep Cherokee and they STILL have plenty of tread left which is pissing me off as I want to get new ones but too cheap to throw out tires with good tread (2) My son has AT LEAST 60,000 miles on his Michelin tires on his Acura Legend and they are JUST NOW getting close to the tread wear indicator. Now, we rotate and balance our tires every 2nd oil change and make an effort at least to keep them inflated up to their maximum capacity which is 35psi. Other than that--nothing special. JDN
