MONY Group has chosen WavePhore's web-based business news and information product Newscast as their service for
enterprise-wide use.
Using Newscast's ''Intranet-ready'' components called Newscast Access, current news and archive information services
are being delivered to 4,500 users via their corporate Intranet.
Over many years, The MONY Group had been using a news clipping service to deliver business news to a select group
of executives via printed publication. Key factors in the selection included ''Intranet readiness'' and online profile
management tools. The MONY Group now distributes articles about competitors, key insurance industry trends and
financial market topics, continuously throughout the day.
The online profile management tools in Newscast provide the control and the flexibility to create and change information
profiles at any time as business needs change. In addition, The MONY Group will receive a tailored information package
that includes over 500 major information sources.
