"Until recently, anyone who wanted to surf the net in a language other than English was left tongue-tied. Now, with a product from a Jerusalem comapny called Accent Software International, a Web page written in English can be instantly translated into 30 languages, including French, Japanese, and Flemish."

See the June issue for more info on Accent, in the "Silicon on the Mediterranean" article. It spotlights Israeli high-tech companies, which are getting more and more recognition now. One advantage, among others, of Israel over Silicon Valley is low labor turnover. Highly skilled employees don't change firms very often, so co's don't have to constantly retrain newcomers or worry about lost investment in employees.

I wonder if anyone is reading this. I hope some people paid attention when I started this thread in March.
