RESEARCH ALERT - DLJ cuts Noble Drilling NEW YORK, April 26 (Reuters) - Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette cut its rating on Noble Drilling Corp. to market perform from buy, a market source said Monday. -- Further details were not immediately available. -- On Wednesday, the company reported lower first quarter earnings compared with the same period a year ago, saying low oil prices had led to reduced drilling activity by exploration companies. -- Stock closed Friday at 18-3/8.
