Croc, Well, you got the great weather you were asking for. Did you get out? We went to Guelph, did a little test-paddling, got out the plastic and ordered a new Swift Kipawa in Expedition Kevlar. We weren't able to find any used ones with wood trim. The canoe should be ready in a few weeks, hopefully in time for our trip to Temagami. If not, they will provide a loaner and the store is right on our way. Should make for a lot of fun this summer. I am checking out places nearby where we can paddle for a day or two especially on weekdays before school is out for the summer. Stuart. PS We got a good price on our trade-in, a 15 year old fibreglass Bluewater. I was surprised how well canoes hold their value if well kept.
