If the IMF sales occur they will most likely be by auction and If the past is any guide the sales will be oversubscribed and the price will start to rise therafter - as it will allow other central banks to position themselves and will maybe provide gold for borrowers to pay back their gold in kind. The IMF sales and Swiss sales are now discounted in the POG - so what else can it be hit with? May be a bit shaky while these Washington meetings are going on. d
