BOTEX INDUSTRIES CORP. COMMENCES TRADING

Botex Industries Corp., having completed its public funding, is now pursuing the completion of numerous production orders for products using Botex material and several joint venture/licensing agreements with large scale rubber products manufacturers.

Botex, the material, is a new formulation of a plastic compound. It has the desirable characteristics of rubber combined with the enhanced durability and waterproof qualities of plastic. The material can be formulated to have varying degrees of wear from very soft to several times greater than Goodyear 500 standard. Botex is harmful thalate free, UV light resistant (colors do not fade) and weather resistant.

Botex creates products and product components incorporating varying color, texture, durometer (hardness), elasticity, and density all chemically bonded within a single mould process. This translates into advantages in the areas of cost effectiveness, cosmetics and versatility that have not been duplicated elsewhere at comparable cost.

Current applications include: elbow and knee pads for various wetsuit manufacturers; shoe insoles; running/athletic shoe outsoles; street shoe and hiking boot outsoles; logos; knee braces; waterski harnesses; aqua boots; marine survival suit boots; flashlight covers; filter components; gaskets; seals and others.

Botex plans to expand not only through increased local production but also by joint venture/licensing agreements with large scale mass producers of rubber/latex/plastic products. Initial focus is on the worldwide shoe industry. Future applications currently in development include auto, industrial and household products.

The Botex plant is open to public tours at 103 - 20175 100A Avenue in Langley, British Columbia weekly on Wednesdays between the hours of 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
