I think Intel's goal as always is to 1) sell more chips and 2) eliminate any bottlenecks that hold down growth in PC sales and e-commerce. So this move, while a little lateral to their main business is in line with their overall strategy.

Re: "It is also not clear to me how high margin this business will be as a stand alone service. It's not clear to me either. This makes me nervous too.
