It will be interesting to see where this all nets out in Canada. I think the TSE was very gutsy including bid.com in the indices... despite a lot of pressure otherwise.

When the price dipped last week they were taking major abuse from a number of brokers, institutions and the press. I think in the long run they'll be proven right but I'm sure they will still be nervous when future high growth opportunities come up.

If they go the conservative route then TSE 300 and 100 performance will get depressed and it will be difficult to attract foreign investors. If they continue to include "companies of the new millenium" they'll open themselves to more abuse. They're in a tough position. I guess time will tell!

I sometimes think to myself that many Americans who have been and continue to be active in bid.com must think we are absolutely nuts up here. Between the press, Yorkton, Greenline, etc. and a general market wide inability to see that e-retail is a wave of the future we must look pretty Mickey Mouse. It is sort of embarrassing!!
