Everyone,
Dang, you guys and gals sure are some postin' wild ones. I've been doing the old two-window odd/even message power reading tonight just to catch up on everyone's thoughts.
As I too am completely exhausted at the moment (napless), a hermeneutical nightmare would certainly follow if I attempt to synopsize my observations of the Big Green Machine (TM). I will follow up these brief comments with more substantial information when my brain pod has all the peas at full strength.
I will defer most of the technical processor-related info to Ron and the others and focus more on the people behind this great organization.
Organization and company most certainly are misnomers when describing what I witnessed in Charleston. I don't think I can describe in written words the synergy of people, minds and action that Bill Carraway has assembled within GRNO. I really haven't seen such high quality people from top to bottom that I saw there. I mean, these guys at the sight were bustin' it big time (read; Pete and the guys, Hi Pete!), sort of a reserved fanaticism that you just don't see in the typical company, large or small. Pete is like a kid in the candy store of innovation. You know, like in those bulk candy stores, Pete's the one with the BIGGEST bag. They all are making this thing work and continuing to strive for perfection and beyond.
And did I mention Bo O'Brien? He's a Bulls fan (read; I have a life-sized cardboard cutout of MJ in my office) for crying out loud. Talk about a cool, confident, knowledge-laden investment professional. Bo is the kind of person that any of us could spend hours with picking his brain for his insights into the financial market inner workings and such. Simply put, Bo is one heck of a guy who made me feel extremely confident of my investment in GRNO.
Bill Carraway is a man of action and vision. His mind seems to be in constant motion. Anyone who has attained success at the levels he has and continues to fight the good fight through any and all adversities, is an example that all honest, hard working people striving for their piece of the pie in this great country should painstakenly follow.
I have carried on a little longer than I had expected to. I hope everyone understands that I truly came away from the Oasis with an exceedingly large (IEI check) level of confidence in the future of GRNO the company and we the shareholders. To repeat a theme Ron (and I think Charles and Norm too) has preached. Get down to Charleston and meet the company for yourself. You will enjoy yourself, meet a lot of honest, hardworking people and will come away with a confidence in your investment that borders on.......(insert the "I" word for you daring types).
Bye for now and I hope this made sense. If it doesn't, just wack your forehead a couple times, cross your eyes, slur your thoughts, and re-read and you should be OK, as that was the state of mind of the author.
Night all,
Mark (PS...Ron snores!!! <g>) (PSS..Norm, do I get a vote for hermeneutical????!!!) |
