Greg-I bought a set of Dunlop D-65's for my Nissan truck as an alternative to the more expensive Michelin 80,000-mile tire. As you noted," milage" tires have some deficiencies compared to " handling" tires, but I was well satisified. I have since installed them on my wife's 626, and will put them on my new Nissan truck when the original Firestones get thin. Check tirerack.com billwot
