Hi Robert,

are you at all concerned about how the issue of internet cable access impacts AOL's prospects long term?

Let me list a few reasons why I am not concerned:

1-AOL has twice as many customers as all other ISP's combined.

2-AOL has the strongest business model of any ISP.

3-AOL is not dependent solely on connection revenues.

4-With the addition of Netscape they further defined themselves as the marker leader. This makes them a portal stock as well as ISP provider.

5-AOL has more daily hits then another other web entity on the net, they also hold a single user on their site for an average of 54 minutes per day, the longest of any in the industry. Their competitors have to position other portals on their software to get a person off their site and onto the Internet.

6-AOL has been rapidly signing on new ecommerce business customers such as USA Visa's recent 3 year $500 million dollar contract with aol. Name 1 other ISP that can do that.

7-AOL's daily traffic count when you include ICQ, ecommerce, ISP customers, email ect. makes them comparable to a major cable network in viewership. This is why the advertiser and ecommerce customer waiting list to get with AOL is long and growing. Other ISP's don't have this problem!

8-AOL is growing their ISP customer base at a neck breaking 1,000,000 new customers per month.

I will stop here at the risk of boring you with my answer but believe me there is plenty more I can add to this list and all considered is why AOL is the number 1 sought after stock to be owned by individuals as well as institutions.
