Kona (and RTev):
Thanks for the responses. I should have mentioned the proxy settings. I am using Netscape 4.5 and went to Edit/Preferences/Advanced/Proxies (as suggested by IQCharts). They are set manually, so I listed them and used "Setup" to specify the address of the proxy server and port listed for server type "HTTP" first. No go. Actually, I tried the port settings listed for every server type under Netscape's "Manual Proxy Configuration." None of them work.

Also, someone I work with has a firewall account and password. He tried using that. Still no success. Based on what I see, it looks as if my computer is not even trying to communicate with IQCharts. Other internet traffic (including these messages) seems to work fine. What happens if you mis-type you User Name or Password? What sort of response do you get?

Reply 175 struck a response. I am not sure of my Java installation. I had done a Java installation earlier and there is a directory under C:\Program Files\Netscape45\Communicator\Program\Plugins\Java Plug-in 1.1. It is Java 1.1.1. What is needed here and how can I check on it?

TIA!
