[ Countdown ] Jim,

Do you really think that CSCO needs a faster speed network card?? They just announced one on 1/21. This is a brand new model capable of speeds up to 115 kbps. WoW !!

Business Wire - January 21, 1997 08:18
Cisco Delivers High Density Solution to Regional Office Environments; New synchronous/asynchronous module supports new applications at lower price points
Cisco Systems, Inc. announced today a new high density synchronous/asynchronous Network Processor Module (NPM) for the regional office Cisco 4500 and Cisco 4700 access routers that reduces product life cycle costs and simplifies access management.

The new module delivers cost-effective flexible support for high density, low-speed WAN aggregation, IBM/Legacy integration and support and asynchronous device integration and support.

The new module is equipped with two high speed serial ports that support full duplex T1 and E1 rates (up to 2.048 Mbps) and 16 lower speed synchronous/asynchronous ports. The 16 lower speed ports are individually configurable as either synchronous ports for Wide Area Network (WAN) aggregation at speeds up to 128 kbps or as asynchronous ports for modems, terminals, or specialized asynchronous equipment at speeds up to 115 kbps.

You really don't think that CSCO could be in a big hurry to keep up do you?? 115kbps ought to be fast enough....??...This is the article that we all went crazy waiting for. The one we waited for TeleChoice to release. The servers went down and no one could access them.
I went back over the thread trying to find it. I sure had a great time too. You know this is one Crazy thread. You should go back and read some of the titles again.

MM's Gorgeing on our flesh ...... Frogs with red legs... The Pizza Indicator...
This is one hilarious place.

I read your post several times to see how much you have 'peppered' there.
Nice Job right down to the Tag Switching. Hmmmmm Wonder what I've missed.

The Foghorn cartoon with sound over is great. I was really amazed ... it looks like they wrote it for the song or even did lipsink.
Debi does publicity at the school and she is going to "hand carry" the patches and 2nd Moon Landing KSC 11/19/1969 postmarked envelope in to show the classs. Those patches are amazing with the detail they have. The kids have a treat in store for them.

But I must warn you now. Lauren has an Essay to do on 'Why do we need to explore space' sponsored by Boeing and NASA. She wanted to Email you with questions because she wants to win the trip to KSC.
Do you want to give the KSC tour to the Cunninghams ??

I told her we would explore on our own and not bother you with it. The tape and the URLs you gave us will Definately come in handy. Many thanks.
And prefect timing.

Do you have any other URLs that may help along this line of... Why Explore Space.? at NASA ?

Great job on the Countdown. I'm watching your countdown clock from here. I'd think the Weather would be nicer on Wednesday.

Thanks
Ray
