Earlie: Wonder what would have happened without Gretchen's article? A couple of lines from my comments to clients this morning: IBM also continued to hop, but it wasn't enough to carry the Dow as T's decline more than offset Big Blue's contribution. However, Sunday's NY Times piece about IBM might lead some to reassess whether the stock's $26 billion 2-day increase in market value was warranted. Then again, they do run all of those ads touting its Internet prowess, so maybe the numbers don't really mean anything after all.
