Another memorable day at the worlds largest casino WHERE EVERYONE IS A WINNER, EXCEPT THOSE VALUE MINDED SHORT SELLERS.........For now that is. Charger I think someone took your rehetorical reference to PCLN to be a recomendation this morning, it moved 12 point or 10% since your post. Bet ya didn't think you had it in ya! Did you know that the Amex Internet Index is up 21% in the past 5 days and only 3% off its high? Haven't checked yet that wonderously crafted web site documenting Auric's Tulip Index however I expect to find more of the same. Since your touting PCLN ;>) I feel compelled to tell you I recieved a call this afternoon from my well to do brother in law (he's a very street smart guy who dropped out of college to drive a meat truck across country. Now he manages to make 7 figures a year in a variety of dirty business's that happen to be essential to the economic lifeblood of our counry. More importantly they are business's that can't be run by investiment bankers which is why he does so well. He learned a few things driving that meat truck theat they don't teach in college that I have to admit is probably worth a lot more than an MBA. Frankly I think he's bored by the stuff.). Anyway back to my story, he calles me 6 minutes before the market closes and tells me he wants to buy a couple of thousand of PCLN and wants my opinion. I managed to keep him on the phone untill the market closed with the belief that I am doing him a favor. While I do think that overall I have helped him (particularly in entry points with stocks that represent good upside) and I know I have done served him better than the New York peddlers that he has previously used (CCEE and IDTI were some of the more memorable loosers that he got into) I'm starting to wonder. I hope your not upset with my efforts to steer individuals away from your favorite stock. BTW, I observed today my lastest batch of scum overvalued stocks (RRRR, BIDS, and a few others) with the thought I might short one of them but couldn't bring myself to do it (yet!). I keep thinking of my brother in law and the many other minions out there who keep bidding up this crap and frankly IT SCARES THE CRAP OUT OF ME.
