Not being an expert, ;) , I think you make a good point George, as well as what Bill said earlier-- Volume draws in the computer traders, who will jump in and out within hours, or at least days, based purely on technical trading. This can affect short-term trading patterns and impressions.
Also, perhaps some realized more results aren't to be out overnight, (although not long!). Or perhaps in reading today's MIX/MMU nr some thought the Micrex "3-weeks for results" timeframe was referring to current MMU/ITH samples in the lab. Not so-- that was regarding archived core from last year's drilling, presently being examined/prepped for submission. Review the following:
From today's MIX release:
"Archived samples taken on the Micrex/Marum lands during the 1998 season are now being re-examined with this expanded exploration model in mind. Approximately 15 samples have been taken from archive storage and two duplicate splits have been prepared. One sample split set will be submitted to Loring Laboratories in Calgary for 30-element ICP analysis; a standard, cost-efficient geochemical scanning procedure. If warranted by positive ICP results, duplicate splits of selected samples will be submitted to Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario for their research grade "Gold + 53" combined ICP and Neutron Activation analysis. The Loring results should be available in three weeks and the Activation Laboratories results would be available three weeks following their arrival at the laboratory."

Another 60 samples will be shipped to Activation Laboratories within a few days. These will be processed using the gold + 53 element analysis package which consists of combined ICP and neutron activation analysis."
- We may see results back from those 30 samples from the recent MMU/ITH drilling program, already sent in to Activation Laboratories, even this week.

Sudhir Khanna, thanks for your comments. -Good to keep the feet on the ground. -- Re. CG, you're probably right and if so I hope they're soon done. But I'm not so sure about insiders and wts.-- As you say, when and if that is exercised, it will offer vital capital to the company's treasury. However, I may be wrong, but my guess is they are hoping/ banking on higher prices.
