i wasn't aware of cube being in television. i had thought
cube was into mpeg2 encoders for very hi -end video editing.
cube isn't anywhere on the map for DVD . you don't see them listed with sony -phillips or matsushita ,toshiba or about half a dozen
other co.s. cube is so miniscule in DVD they're not worth mentioning
at this point in time. as surely as DVD will obsolete cd-rom in a year
cube will also face unprecedented competition in their mpeg2
territory. DVD is going to be faster than the fastest cd-roms
and hold 14 times more data.the huge hardware makers are bound to want a large piece of that market. (ibm) et al just because ibm doesn't put the chip in video players doesn't mean they can't
licence a version to a electronics manu.
