Actually, Gustave, you have it wrong. Pure phenomena are objects of the reproductive imagination, images of images, so to speak, such as we find in dreams. The noumena are represented as speculative ideas, about which we can have rational beliefs, but no knowledge, which Kant confines to the scientific investigation of phenomena...
