4/26 Update
Isaac's Harbour

CIH-99-06

April 26, 1999 - CIH-99-06 was completed today with a total depth of 462 meters. The rig was moved this afternoon and the casing set for hole #7. This will be the first hole drilled to the east. The others have all been drilled on a north-south axis. Hole #7 is positioned on line with numbers 5 & 6 and in between them, but aimed at the end of Hurricane Island, due east and at an angle of about 35 degrees. This is designed to enter the structure at a right angle as the uplift fades towards the west. The hole may continue well under the sea as we plan to drill at least 450 meters deep. Hole #7 will give us valuable information concerning minable width.
We can do no more with the ramps until we get a mining lease from the government; our present lease is for exploration only. When we have obtained a mining lease we will hire a mine engineering company to give us consultation on the ramp and entering the old workings as well as a flow sheet plan for the economical operation of a mill circuit on site.

Doug spent the weekend training a helper to run the saw. He should be splitting core from #5 all week. We will then split core from #6 next week and get them both in for pulverizing and atomic absorption assaying.
