Your advice is good as is your cautions ... I've said it so many times before, but am more of a believer than I ever was -- we are very close to exhaustion and BK. It hurts to be early and I've taken a lump or two, but don't want to hedge by using spreads ...

Good luck Arik ... I wonder what is going to come after. I hope that something constructive can come out of this. Every generation looks at their own and see sign of the decay and downfall, but I think there is reason for worry. I hope this economic debacle that is coming (which seeds have been sown in the last 4 - 5 years) will drive people to consider others rather than things and $$'s only. I've even been caught up in the greed -- wanting to profit from the inevitable collapse ... all the wasted mental energy that could have been put to productive use.

I think the move to automate everything, computerize everything has had its drawbacks, too -- Guess I really sound like a luddite for an engineer who really loves technology. So much of the "communications" technologies seem to be nothing more than a type of enslavement.

I am moving to an area where Amish people live.

In driving around the area we got behind some horse and buggies -- my son asked why they didn't drive cars? I said, "I don't know, but you'll probably have an opportunity to ask them." He said, "No, let's think about it." :-)
