TA: Dilema - What do you do when you get conflicting data on the same stock? Such is the case with ANLT. The basic trading pattern though positive is beginning to look somewhat like a wilted flower. Though still colorful it's losing the natural beauty. Confirming the loss of market strength is a weakening of the TSV and Stochastics. Hopefully the short interest report due out any day will show a reversal of the current trend and breathe life back into the stock.

The most bothersome thing to me is the inability of the stock to hold above $26 and also to generate any significant buying volume. On the Yahoo thread there is some jubilation over the institutional interest however the reality is that it really is a stand off. Funds sold - Funds bought but the volume essentially remained the same as did the % held when al was said and done.

The investment side of this issue is still very positive for the longer term with potential for at lease 100% gain over the next 18 months to two years. Short term the outlook may not be that bright but then again it could present another buying opportunity.
