My apologies, thought you were referring to the quote "all is vanity..." I forget the name of the monk who wrote the prophesy I was thinking of, he was an Irish monk that lived in the 14th century, wrote what was called the Papal Prophesy. It predicted, so far successfully (though this could be a self-fulfilling prophesy on the Church's part, I must disclaim), the entire line of Popes from the 14th century to the last Pope, who he claims comes after Pope John Paul II and will be named Peter. I dont put much stock in such things, but its interesting stuff from a purely entertainment view. :) |
