With Intel at the low end and the high end, the resulting squeeze may well prove fatal for amd and, in the long run, very profitable to intel. I don't believe intel does product line specific p&l splits, except for internal review, but I'll bet you their cost to produce, in all market categories, is significantly lower than the previous "owners".

What was that advice I've posted and seen posted by countless others on this thread? Something like: Don't compete, on price, with the low cost producer!!!
