[TW:2306] has announced a new super-slim notebook, the TravelMate 330. The machine is the first super-slim notebook with a Pentium II level CPU inside from a Taiwanese maker. TravelMate 330 is also the first Taiwan-made notebook with an aluminum and magnesium alloy case. The company expects to sell 2,500 units of the super-slim notebook within one month. Many other Taiwanese computer companies, including Twinhead International Corp., ASUSTeK Computer Corp. and LEO Systems Inc., also plan to announce new super-slim notebooks within the next two months. acer.com
