I don't know the answer to your question - I think it is because it is a fairly thinly traded stock. People who put in market orders to buy or sell must get creamed. I sometimes put in an order 1 1/2 points above or below the opening or previous day close and it gets filled! Not often but once in a while. I sold more today at 8 3/4, and then tried to buy at 7 1/2, but it only went down to 7 7/8. Will try again tomorrow. Bob
