Scenario: Ronald chokes and word spreads of their latest marketing failure with the 55 cent burger (remember MacLean, and the Arch Deluxe?) Foodmaker announces another quarter of record sales and earnings, including healthy same-store increases. Vons settles with Foodmaker and hands them $100 million dollars in cash. Stock is on its way again, up and up. It could happen.
