SUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You buy NETA again for the gap up? Not that it makes for the much larger gappa downs recently.. They had a conference at the H&Q today at 4PM PST. This just hit. Also repriced employee options @ 11.06, makes me think they timed the bad news just right to get in at the bottom. Isnt that against some law somewhere?

Dow Jones Newswires Network Associates Calls Shrs Undervalued, Considers Buyback By MARK BOSLET Dow Jones Newswires

SAN FRANCISCO -- Network Associates Inc.'s (NETA) shares are undervalued, and the company is considering a stock buyback program to take advantage of their low price, Chief Executive Bill Larson said.

In the past 18 months, the software maker has made several acquisitions of companies with computer-security technology and these acquistions are not reflected in the stock price, Larson said.

Competitors recognize this and have expressed interest in purchasing some of the assets, Larson said at the Hambrecht & Quist technology conference.

Network Associates is "extremely well positioned to bounce back" from a disappointing first quarter, he said. "We see security as the next wave - what will bring us from a $1 billion company to a multi-billion company."
