That's why I was really trying to watch the action following the no-activity period (30 minutes), looking for a clue as to which way things would likely go.

For this *particular* stock, it seemed quite the exception. In other stocks, a 30-minute pause is common enough. This particular situation is happening after the stock made some recent nice gains, and profit-takers have pretty much finished. Now the market seems to be trying to decide if it's 'carcas city,' or if accumulation should begin anew, building for the next level up.

Definitely two edges to the sword.

Yes, I've, uh, had some experience in that department....
