CCSC) announced today the launch of the first echo canceller product specifically developed for digital wireless networks at
CTIA's Wireless 97 show, in San Francisco, California. The Wireless Echo Canceller is the first complete echo canceller
solution for the digital wireless market, and delivers echo-free quality on both the mobile and PSTN ends of a call, a
breakthrough previously not available in the industry.
Coherent's new Wireless Echo Canceller dramatically improves the voice quality on a wireless network by delivering high
quality, echo-free conversations on both ends of a call. This innovation is superior to existing echo cancellation devices,
which address only one side of a conversation and must be used in pairs to process the entire voice path. The Wireless Echo
Canceller is optimized to cancel echo and enhance speech in the wireless environment. It provides a clear improvement over
conventional echo cancellers, which are general purpose devices developed for wireline networks and adapted to wireless. In
