Nat: Your last sentence has me in total agreement and LOL! It is my educated opinion that I believe that Benhamou has been advised to "lay low"...lest we forget...he has a considerable amount of shares and he
would like to see the value increase...lets hope he realizes such and
defers questions to Claflin (master of impromptu). It is interesting that it was Claflin that spoke while in Pa....Benhamou was not present
to meet with the Governor...just Claflin. As to the earlier part of your post...I can't comment...so much of a guessing game at this point. Too much data to digest amongst those companies concerned and
the various combinations that could occur! It would take one hell of a
financial accountant to filter out the wheat from the chaff and come up with an accurate "what if" strategy. I am sure the lights are burning late in the accounting dept amongst these organizations to advise Corporate where their strengths/weakness lie. At this point..I can only relate that the shareholders are in a "win-win" position. I am concentrating my time on the volumn aspect and trying to read what the market is reflecting. Keeping a keen eye on Cisco volumn also, and share appreciation. I don't especially like the idea of the Europeans coming into our market...hell, as much as I would dislike the idea...I would rather see Cisco buy out 3com! Of course this would not happen
but the intellectual assets would remain here!
