Paul, re:"That includes a lot of 0.35 and 0.5 micron wafers." You could be right but TSM's report doesn't even mention line widths larger than 0.25u for conventional circuits. They are already at 0.18u and expect to produce at 0.15u in "early 2000". Even ho-hum execution at 0.15u should produce some fast little chips.
