BRIDGEWATER, N.J., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- DAGAZ Technologies, Inc. today
announced the launch of JERA 2000 and ODIN 3000, product suites that allow
media providers to offer their customers scaleable, high-performance,
cost-effective multimedia applications in the remote LAN access, SOHO, and
residential markets. JERA 2000 and ODIN 3000 enhance existing networks,
offering solutions for delivery of multimedia applications such as
high-speed Internet access and video on demand (VOD), through the Last Mile
Network -- the network segment that extends the enterprise to the remote LAN
access, SOHO, and residential markets -- to end-users.

JERA 2000 is comprised of gateways that enable remote LAN access, SOHO,
and residential market customers a direct link to enterprise networks via ATM
using ADSL technology. JERA 2000 is installed in Service Provider central
offices. It uses the same standard copper wires that telephones use, to
provide a bi-directional integrated loop transport system to support
multimedia networking applications like high-speed Internet access and
remote LAN interconnections. There are three types of data services
available within the JERA 2000 suite:

-- Public Multicast -- a low-cost service that is commonly used for
today's Internet access.
-- Unicast -- a higher security data service that is typically for
telecommuters who access employer's servers.
-- High Performance Service -- a private line service for high performance
applications
