I wish V would spend some of the IPO money to upgrade the system, my ETrade Canada accounts haven't been updated since 4/22! It's a real pain to recalculate excess margin manually. My Datek updates everything realtime. I spent 15 minutes on hold yesterday, but couldn't get a straight answer. Execution is usually pretty good, but the account updating problem is frustrating. The need to resolve these problems to move forward in this market. All my other online brokers update overnight. Any ideas on how many accounts ETrade Canada now has? V seems stuck in a range despite another couple strong days by net brokers in the US.
