Cambridge's Chief Technology Officer To Share Insight and Lead Dynamic Panel discussion
on XML Technology in the Digital Economy

Cambridge Technology Partners (Massachusetts), Inc. (NASDAQ:CATP) (Cambridge), an
international management consulting and systems integration firm will lead an Internet
technology panel on April 29 at the Internet and Electronic Commerce Conference and Expo
(iEC) at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. In collaboration with the
GartnerGroup, the fifth annual iEC Conference and Expo is the nation's foremost event
dedicated exclusively to promoting the use of electronic commerce via the Internet.

Cambridge's Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Sanjiv Gossain, a well known author and
presenter, will chair the prestigious panel titled, "Making XML a Reality." Gossain is the sole
author of a book, entitled: Object Modeling and Design Strategies: Tips and Techniques,
published in 1997 by SIGS Publications, New York. He also recently wrote an extensive
thought leadership article on new business models for the Digital Economy entitled
"Reinventing Value; The New Business Ecosystem." The article was published in Strategy
and Leadership magazine in November 1998. Gossain recently lead a panel discussion at
Comdex '99 in Chicago titled, " Build Buy or Rent: The Best Way to Implement
Applications."

experiences, bring clarity to the market hype. This session will focus on how companies can
use XML to effectively do business in the new, digital economy. The panelists will provide
insight on whether XML is worthy of the attention that it has received, providing examples of
how their respective industries and companies have used XML and plan to use it in the
future. The panelists will discuss the technical abilities that make XML so promising and
