Mill City Gold - Trading Takes Place on "Vista"
CALGARY, ALBERTA--MILL CITY GOLD MINING CORP. is pleased to
announce that the Company's common shares will begin trading today
on "VISTA" (Vancouver International Securities Trading Access).
Mill City joins this select group of some 80 industrial and
resource exploration companies with significant operations in the
Southeast Asia and Australia regions.
This new evening trading session which was launched on Sunday,
September 15, 1996, links the Asia Pacific stock markets,
including Australia and Hong Kong, with North America. The
additional trading session allows selected companies with business
or investor interest in the AustralAsian marketplace to trade real
time in Vancouver during the early part of the Australia and Hong
Kong business day.
With VISTA, the VSE will re-open between the hours of 5:30 p.m.
and 7:30 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) or 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
(Pacific Daylight Time). This coincides with the early hours of
the exchanges in both Hong Kong and Australia.
In addition, under another initiative from the Exchange, brokerage
firms in other countries, such as Hong Kong and Australia, can
apply to become "International Associates" of the VSE, a new
designation of trading participant that allows the foreign firms
many of the same privileges as current members, including trading
of the VISTA stocks.
International Associates, along with this new trading session, is
part of the VSE's strategy to make investment opportunities
available to a global group of brokerage firms and their clients.
VISTA marks a major step in extending VSE trading and reinforces
the VSE's position as the leading venture capital exchange in the
world.
