I agree that he's an excellent, highly credible journalist and if I offended him, I apologize. It certainly was not my intent. This is supposed to be a relatively free exchange of thoughts and my comments were meant to convey the point that reporting should strive to be balanced as much as possible and not always driven by being the first on the air with a "scoop." I think that's a valid criticism while also realizing that being first helps drive ratings. I really did not intend to "put words into his mouth," as it were. I felt his reaction was a trifle excessive but so be it. This seems to have gotten out of hand. By the way, I watch CNBC every market day.
