Stuart, Well, we had lots of sun on the weekend, but it was cold and very windy around here. I decided to delay my first canoe trip of the year in favour of working in my gardens (another favourite pursuit). I'm hoping for warmer weather before the weekend. If it happens, I'm outta here! I checked in my "canoe files" and found a copy of a Swift canoe catalogue. The Kipawa looks very nice indeed. The Expedition Kevlar is listed at 49 lbs so you should be able to leap along through the portages carrying your canoe with little more effort that wearing a baseball cap...(-: ..now all you have to do is "wait" for the new canoe to arrive.
