The dog my wife brought home from the shelter nailed a couple of steaks from the counter. Now she has settled down and is better at staying away from the counter but we still never leave anything out.

My wife had a small mixed breed that weighed about 12 pounds. That mutt ate a whole pumpkin pie once. She looked like she was going to explode.
