Nice trade on BIDS, Kurt. In hindsight, PCLN would have been a no-brainer sympathy trade yesterday with the institutional support from Mary Meeker and other brokerage upgrades and in context of ebay exceeding expectations. However, perhaps the time to rein in the exuburance for the internets has arrived. There seems to be little strength in the sector run-up this morning, mostly short-covering. Watch for profit-taking to subside and buyers to return. DCLK has nullified the effect of EBAY for the sector. I now look for consolidation in the sector among those with a monopoly in their niches and who have indicated quarter over quarter revenue growth.
