Paul, I was referring to the potential for either IBM or CPQ acquiring AMD in a friendly manner to defeat the PP. SInce AMD needs a deep pocket partner, preferable a foundry owner, like IBM, with better tech, like copper, and better management would come along to, hopefully.
As it stands Intel can use it's deep pockets to bury AMD until this happens or AMD croaks totally?
