Howard, "Drinking beer in the hot Sun,
I fought the Fed and, I won,
I fought the Fed and, I won.
Wanted sex so I bought some,
I fought the Fed and, I won,
I fought the Fed and, I won." Apologies to Bobby Fuller and "I Fought the Law." And The Dead Kennedys version of the same. <G>

Yes, you can fight the Fed and win. I am absolutely slaughtering the Fed in the fixed income markets. They are lowering rates and my bets against them have been the best thing I have done this year. I am also kickin its butt and taking its name later in currencies. Always fight the Fed and always fight the tape for maximum profits. Just manage your bet money wisely. Most stocks are still down for the last year, despite the indices going higher.

Fred Hickey says small players should remain in cash. I think 90/10 is a viable alternative to that less lucrative strategy.

My guess is that Jim Grant is also counting his bond and currency market profits with a big grin on his face.
