We've been over this before. BIDS sells the products directly to consumers. EBay has a different business model: it sells items, in effect, on commission, so it reports the commission. It never takes possession of the goods, legal or physical. Naturally it will report revenues not based on the value of the goods transacted through its site. BIDS reports gross revenue based on what it sells (ie. a computer it sells for $1000 is worth $1000 gross revenue). Explain to me how that's different from any other business, retail or not. Look back on this thread and you'll find excellent rebuttals for all your points. WUWT
